Amanyara

Amanyara is located on the coast of Northwest Point adjacent to Malcolm’s Beach on the island of Providenciales. It enjoys a pristine location well removed from much of the development on the eastern side of the island.

From its secluded white-sand beach and unusual ironshore rocky coves, to the abundant marine life of its pristine reef walls, Amanyara embraces Northwest Point Marine National Park, an acclaimed area of 4,168 acres that provides some of the world’s best wall and reef diving.

Surrounded by mahogany trees, the central reflecting pond is framed on one side by the Library and Boutique and on the other side by the Restaurant and Bar. The circular Bar offers a dramatic soaring roof and sea views fronted by the 164-foot main swimming pool and sun deck.

Featuring four double treatment pavilions and a reception and relaxation pavilion, the Spa offers a variety of massages, wraps, scrubs, facials and beauty treatments. Morning yoga classes are offered daily and there are two floodlit Har-tru clay tennis courts, and a gym with a range of cardiovascular equipment and resistance training machines.

All Pavilions are identical in layout and design yet differentiated by location. The spacious interiors hold every comfort you could wish for including a freestanding bathtub and ‘rain shower’ room. An overhanging roofline creates shaded outdoor areas on each pavilion’s three terraces, and sliding glass doors open to catch the cooling sea breezes.

Pavilions are situated on the edge of tranquil ponds with timber sun decks extending over the water.

Ocean Pavilions are positioned along the oceanfront with views of the sea. These pavilions are elevated approximately 20 feet above the waterline, and have pathways leading to the rocky shoreline. Pool Pavilions feature a 12-metre (40-foot) infinity-edge swimming pool surrounded by teak decking and natural vegetation.

Each 3, 4 or 5-bedroom Villa sits on more than 1½ acres of lush terrain and is centered by an infinity-edged swimming pool in black volcanic rock surrounded by extensive hardwood decking, flanked by free-standing bedroom pavilions, some with outdoor bathtubs and showers. A large living and dining pavilion, outdoor dining sala and fully equipped kitchen are included in each Villa.

Providenciales features a barrier reef that runs the length of the island’s 17-mile northeast coast and therefore offers a host of exceptional dive sites. Located directly in front of the resort, approximately 1,640 feet from the beach are the remarkable coral reef walls of the Northwest Point Marine National Park. This five-mile fringing reef system that runs parallel to the coastline is dominated by boulder star coral, elkhorn coral and gorgonians of various species that are home to schooling fish, turtles, spotted eagle rays and much more.

All Marine Park dive sites are, weather-permitting, a three- to eight-minute boat ride from Amanyara’s beach. The fully-equipped Dive Pavilion at Amanyara also offers a range of scuba diving courses suited to all levels. Alternative dive sites include the stunning walls of West Caicos, the remote reefs and walls of French Cay and the breathtaking array of coral at Sandbore Channel.
