Reethi Beach Resort

Reethi Beach Resort is located in the north-east of Baa Atoll on tiny Fonimagoodhoo Island measuring just 600m by 200m.

Only 15% of the land area is built upon and the resort is nestled amidst lush vegetation shaded by graceful palm trees and surrounded by a white sandy beach and a lagoon of crystal clear water, with a beautiful house reef just 30m to 100m from shore.

The management and staff are committed to the maintenance of a sustainable, eco-friendly environment and continually aim to improve their conservation policies.

There are five restaurants and five bars, poolside and beachfront. Facilities include a PADI 5-star dive center, a spa and wellness retreat, water sports center, sports complex and a wide variety of group and private excursions that have been carefully selected to enable you to explore the untouched beauty of Baa Atoll and the rich culture of its inhabitants.

The elegant and spacious detached and semi-detached villas are built from natural materials in typical Maldivian style, providing first class comfort in a unique setting.

All 110 villas are set amid tropical foliage fringing a long expanse of powder soft beach or on stilts over the clear blue lagoon, and have air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, IDD telephone, mini-bar, in-room safe, satellite television, hairdryer, hot and cold water, with one king bed or twin beds and terrace with deck chairs. In addition, all rooms have private sun loungers with mattress located at the beach.

The Reethi Villas are designed to complement the beauty of the island and are just steps from the beautiful beach. The beachfront Deluxe Villas have a breathtaking view of the crystal clear lagoon and boast a larger sitting area and a traditional Maldivian swing just outside the room.

Built on stilts over the clear waters of the lagoon, the Water Villas are designed especially for the ocean lover! Each has a large sitting area, balcony with sitting area, direct lagoon access and a tropical ocean view, parasol and sun loungers with mattress.

The Dive Center is managed by Sea-Explorer, a PADI 5-star center, visiting about 30 dive sites in shallow reefs, the outer reef, atoll reefs and house reefs, many reached within a 20 to 30-minute boat journey from Reethi Beach.

The house reef on the west side of Reethi Beach lies on a channel and stretches out along the whole length of the island. Due to its diversity and wealth of fish life, the house reef of Reethi Beach is surely one of the most beautiful of the Maldives. The regular passing of dolphins, eagle rays and barracudas as well as the shoals of batfish, mackerels and fusiliers are just some of the highlights.
