OVERVIEW
Typhoon joined the Tornado Marine Fleet in 2005 and has quickly established her place as one of the best boats to be on in the Northern Red Sea. Sweeping curves and a generous 33m length, Typhoon makes fast work of the journeys between the wrecks and reefs of the region. The sister to Whirlwind, she shares many of the same design attributes and has the same feeling of opulence.

Circular dining tables help create a continental cafe ambience in the dining room. With an attractive spiral staircase leading up, the saloon and bar area are situated on the bridge deck. The large plasma screen in the saloon is ideal for briefings and checking out the photographic efforts for the day. There is a DVD and CD player and sound system in the lounge.

You will find a peaceful oasis on one of several sun decks, while the cocktail deck provides a shady haven. All outside areas have teak decking. On the upper deck there is a heated jacuzzi. The Typhoon accommodates 20 passengers and is EUF certified.

CABINS
There are 2 twin cabins on the main deck and 1 twin cabin on the bridge deck, the remaining 7 twin cabins are located below, all with A/C and music. The design of the en-suite bathrooms has been considerably improved by separating the shower area from the other facilities.
DIVING
The spacious dive deck features individual dive stations with comfortable seating and dive kit storage. All tanks are filled in situ so once your equipment is set up all you have to do is dive! Open cupboard spaces are provided allowing you to leave dry towels for when you return from your dive. The large dive platform allows you to kit up in safety and comfort and features fresh water rinse tanks and showers. Divers are ferried by two 5.5m RIBs. Typhoon has Nitrox and is fully enabled for rebreather diving.

Northern Red Sea itineraries allow you to explore the wonderful dive sites that have made this area so famous. Stunning wall diving, a huge variety of fish and corals, and some of the best wrecks on the planet are waiting for you.
PHOTO FACILITIES
Typhoon has plenty of charging stations all over the boat. Due to the long times needed to charge the batteries this cannot be done in the cabins (ie where they can be left unattended and cause a possible fire hazard). You will need to bring a round 2 pin European style adaptor for the plugs.

Large rinse tanks on the back dive deck which can be used to clean the housing after each dive, together with a spray hose. An air gun and table are also available so you can really dry off the housing before opening it.

There is a central table on the dive deck where cameras can be set before/after dives and for in between dives there are large tables in the saloon and top decks for working on your gear.

The plasma screen can be used to view your new images on the big screen. However, they do use different connectors so bring your cables.
