Great Escape

Launched in 2006, MV Great Escape is a 26 meter, fully air-conditioned, luxury catamaran, custom-built for cruising in comfort and style. The spacious open lounge area is an excellent place to catch up on some reading while enjoying a freshly brewed cappuccino and appreciating the spectacular passing scenery. Or you may choose to watch real time TV or a movie on the large flat screen television.

Indoor and alfresco dining areas offer both casual and formal dining experiences. The invigorating freshwater spa on the foredeck provides a refreshing break during the warm days and lets you lay back in style as you cruise.

The onboard helicopter provides the opportunity for optional scenic flights to capture this extraordinary and enchanting wilderness from the air.

The boat is in contact with the outside world via state-of-the-art satellite communications including phone, fax and email, and an onboard Apple iPad for guests’ convenience. She is also equipped with two onboard desalinators so there is always plenty of fresh water for bathing and drinking.

MV Great Escape caters for just 14 guests with an experienced 5 person crew.

All 7 staterooms feature individual climate-controls, generous private ensuite bathrooms, queen size walk-around beds, flat screen TVs, DVD players and personal fridges.

Panoramic View staterooms offer double or twin configuration with large viewing windows. The Horizon View staterooms are also available in a double or twin configuration and feature two large porthole style windows creating a light and comfortable environment.

A day’s cruising west of Broome, the Rowley Shoals is a largely undiscovered underwater paradise offering divers and snorkelers an eco experience unmatched anywhere else. Prepare to be inspired by three, spectacular, pristine coral atolls rising 400 meters from the ocean floor, on the very edge of the world’s widest continental shelf.

You’ll be able to dive on one of the ocean’s largest, untouched coral gardens, swim among giant clams, shellfish, Maori Wrasse and Giant Potato Cod and discover 233 species of exquisite coral and 688 fish species, many of which are colorful, exotic and unique to the area. Amazingly, the underwater visibility is 20 to 60 meters and the water temperature is typically and irresistibly tropical. The Rowley Shoals provides a unique opportunity to experience turquoise lagoons filled with extraordinary coral bommies, unbelievably colorful coral formations and canyons. You’ll also have a chance to enjoy high-speed drift, night dives, cave diving and snorkeling.
