OVERVIEW Miniloc Island Resort is set in a cove with a backdrop of sheer limestone cliffs. Reminiscent of a coastal village, the quaint charm of the resort is enhanced by its crystal clear waters teeming with tropical fishes. You need not go far to sample the Island’s interesting facets.
The waters fronting the resort are rich in marine life. At the end of the pier, guests can snorkel alongside 3-foot long groupers and hundreds of sergeant majors, damsel fish, fusiliers, and other multi-colored tropical fishes. |

Facilities at Miniloc Island Resort include a restaurant located at the clubhouse, a boutique, video room, game area, Pavilion Bar, and a conference room that can accommodate up to 40 persons theater-style and 30 persons classroom-style.
It also has a Marine Sports Center, complete with water sports equipment such as diving and snorkeling, kayak, windsurfer, and hobie cat.

The different islands and activity sites in El Nido are easily accessible from Miniloc Island Resort. The Big and Small Lagoons are a short kayak ride away from the resort.
Activities offered at Miniloc Island Resort include lagoon tours, cave tours, mangrove river tours, bottom fishing, bird watching, hat making, picnic lunches, sunset cruising, kayaking, windsurfing, hobiecat sailing, snorkeling, diving and, with prior arrangement, dive courses.

ROOMS Miniloc Island Resort has a total of 50 rooms with a variety of accommodation types: 7 Water Cottages and 5 Seaview Rooms built on stilts, 13 Garden Cottages surrounded by tropical plants, 3 Cliff Cottages nestled high in the hillside and 12 Beachside Rooms and 10 new eco-friendly Deluxe Seaview Rooms which will be equipped with solar-power energy, efficient lighting system, and ceiling fans for those who wish to enjoy the cool island breeze.
All of the rooms are made of local and natural materials and are equipped with an air-conditioning unit, mini bar, hair dryer, private toilet, shower facilities, and private verandahs that offer views of the cove and nearby islands.

DIVING El Nido has a diverse marine life with over 200 species of tropical fish and more than 100 species of corals. It is the nesting ground of three species of endangered sea turtle, the green sea turtle, hawksbill turtle and olive ridley turtle. Marine mammals such as dolphins, whales and dugongs feed here. Different types of sharks, including the world largest fish, the whale shark, have been sighted here.
With 25 great dive sites available, diving at El Nido is varied and exciting. The resorts professional dive center offers scuba courses, rental equipment and has experienced and friendly dive instructors. Snorkeling is also fabulous, and there are many diverse snorkeling sites.

Around El Nido the dive sites range from gradual slopes to drop-offs, wall dives to reef flats. Visibility is generally good, with an average of 10 to 30 meters in the summer months of March until May. Each dive master handles up to a maximum of 6 divers at one time. Night diving can be arranged.
