Pelican Beach Resort at Dangriga has twenty comfortable rooms in two different categories. The main building is a colonial-style and houses twelve rooms on the second floor. The ground floor has the lobby, restaurant, bar and other guest services. Choose from Beachfront Rooms with a porch, or Standard Rooms without a porch. The adjacent building houses eight additional rooms. All the rooms are equipped with ceiling fans, and some are air-conditioned.

The Pelican Beach Resort is a short twenty minute walk into town. In Dangriga, you can watch drums being made, visit the internationally known painter Benjamin Nicholas, or stroll the streets and explore the numerous small shops including a local winery. Or, you can sway in a hammock under the thatched dock and relax. Dangriga is also an excellent base location for touring Belize—visit Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, Manatee Lagoon, Belize Zoo, Mayan ruins, and many other fascinating locations. Day trips to the barrier reef for scuba diving and snorkeling can be arranged. |
