Aqua Cat

The Aqua Cat offers luxury accommodations, a spacious main salon and an extremely smooth ride. This catamaran cruises at a speed of 14-knots getting you to the uninhabited islands of the Bahamas and dive sites quickly while her 35-ft beam will ensure a smooth ride and 102 foot length plenty of space for the 22 to 30 passengers she can accommodate.

Imagine sinking your toes into sugar sand, diving among the lemon sharks and sting rays, or hiking the trails of pirates and bootleggers of years gone by. No crowds, no set itineraries, nothing to do but sit back, relax and choose from an incredible variety of liveaboard activities including scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, sunbathing, and island exploring.

The eleven passenger cabins are some of the largest of any liveaboard with their own private bathroom and shower. Cabins 1-4 each have two twins and can accommodate one or two additional passengers in fold down berths. This is great for a family or friends that would like to reduce their costs. Cabins 5- 8 can be configured as either two twins or one king. Cabins 9 and 10 have one queen and one twin. Cabin 11 has two twins and a skylight with a shade instead of windows, and carpeted floors.

Cabins come equipped with private bathroom with shower, hair dryer, oversized berths, bar refrigerator, individually controlled air-conditioners, port and starboard cabin have two large windows with shades.

Aqua Cat offers a large variety of dives; shark feeding dives, blue holes, wrecks, high speed drift dives, walls and shallow patch reefs. If you aren't a certified scuba diver, full certification is available as well as specialties and advanced courses for certified divers. Aqua Cat offers top of the line high quality scuba rental gear for those who require it and Nitrox is available. Photographers will find underwater life in the Exumas prolific and varied.

For over 30 years, much of the northern Exumas has been a National Underwater Park with no fishing, spearfishing or collecting allowed. Because of these laws there are miles and miles of undersea gardens. The reefs are perfect for diving with gin clear waters and lots of fish.

The dive deck is equipped with a photo station with large work area and three shelves for camera storage, 110v and 220v outlets for battery charging, two enclosed showers, one toilet with sink, two dive ladders, rinse hoses with hot & cold water by each dive ladder, and two fresh water rinse tanks.
