The 29 meter MV Celebes Explorer is a luxurious motor vessel specially built for liveaboard diving in the exotic and secluded islands of Semporna Marine Park and neighboring islands in the world renowned Celebes Sea, off the coast of Borneo. It is custom built to cater to divers needs and is fully furnished in a cozy and comfortable manner for great relaxation and enjoyment.

The vessel has a comfortable sofa lounge with TV, audio system and mini bar. There is a spacious sun deck with sun beds and wooden furniture for open-air gathering and BBQs.
The dive deck has plenty of space for gearing up, hot & cold showers, lockers for gear storage and hangers to dry wetsuits.

The boat is manned with a team of professional PADI dive instructor and dive guides together with a warm and friendly crew who are committed to providing guests with the best diving available in the safest and most comfortable manner possible.

Two Explorer cabins have a double bed only and 6 Celebes cabins have a lower double and single upper berth. All cabins are ensuite with individually controlled air-conditioning, ceiling and reading lights, hot water shower and 220v outlet.

Celebes Explorer cruises between Sipadan Island, Kapalai Island, Mabul Island and Si Amil Island with the itinerary changing according to conditions. This area is inhabited by about 580 of the world’s 793 species of reef-building corals and inhabitants include a wide range of fish life from pink frogfish to the occasional whale shark. There are both muck and reef sites to explore. There are 4 or 5 dives scheduled daily except on arrival and departure days.
