Eclipse, a 210-foot luxury vessel was introduced to Galapagos in 1999 to bring a new level of comfort and elegance to the area. It accommodates up to 48 passengers in 27 suites, staterooms and cabins, which is half the number of passengers of vessels its size usually carry in Galapagos.
To provide the best possible service and attention, there is one naturalist guide onboard for every twelve passengers. Other thoughtful additions include a video screening room, pool with a poolside bar, library, observation deck with wonderful views and a small shop. There is also an infirmary with a doctor onboard at all times. An al fresco dining area, many social areas and extensive deck space guarantee elbow room for all.
Eclipse`s staterooms are very spacious and equipped with writing desks, closets, one queen-size bed or two twin beds. All have air-conditioning and portholes. Choose from four Suites, eight Deluxe Outside Staterooms, thirteen Deluxe Outside Double Cabins and two Deluxe Outside Single Cabins. Eclipse sails out of Baltra on Saturdays for 7-night natural history cruises. |
