Stella Maris Explorer

The 36 meter Stella Maris Explorer is a fully equipped dive cruiser that can take up to 22 people. The interior is fully air-conditioned and the saloon includes a well stocked bar and entertainment center with TV, VCR, VCD/DVD and stereo and well as a library of books and magazines. Outside there is a sundeck with bar as well as a jacuzzi.

Stella Maris takes 22 passengers in 2 Deluxe double cabins and 1 Deluxe twin on the bridge deck, and 4 Standard double/twin cabins on the flying deck. On the main deck there are 3 double/twin cabins and all cabins have private bathrooms.

Stella Maris Explorer offers scheduled trips to Tubbataha and may be chartered for other destinations such as Coron and Apo Reef. She has two 27 ft chase boats and the dive deck features 4 open rinse showers. Nitrox is available for Nitrox certified divers.

In the center of the Sulu Sea lies the Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park. Declared a World Heritage site by the World Conservation Union in 1993, the park is composed of 2 coral atolls separated by an 8 km (5 mile) wide channel. These picturesque tropical atolls, known as North and South Tubbataha, host an amazing variety of reef tropicals, turtles and large pelagics. Manta and Eagle rays, white and black tip reef sharks, nurse, shovelnose, leopard and hammerhead sharks are common. Schools of jacks and snappers congregate on the wall while sleek barracudas patrol. Terrain ranges from gentle slope to sheer walls in excess of 914 meters (3000ft)! The spectacular explosion of life and color make this an experience never to be forgotten.
