Puerto Galera literally means Port of Galleons and its sheltered bays have been a safe haven for sailors for centuries. Atlantis Puerto Galera has a Massage Room where you can unwind from a hard day's diving and add the perfect finishing touches to your vacation. Enjoy a range of therapeutic and relaxing massage & spa services, as well as manicures, pedicures, body scrubs and much more.

Refresh yourself in the private pool or relax in the sun. More than 100 sqm in size, with a shallow 1m area as well as a deep 3m and is filled with non-chlorinated water and sheltered by trees. It’s the perfect place for you to have a relaxing massage.

Atlantis is equipped with high speed broadband connection, either LAN or WiFi. They also provide computers for paid internet use for those traveling light. Should you need wireless connection our front desk is more than willing to assist you, wireless is available in the whole resort.

With Toko’s new restaurant in Puerto Galera, Atlantis has come up with a unique dining experience. Using fresh local products and flavors but made to an international standard, we have moved away from monotonous a la carte menus. Daily changing blackboard lunch and dinner menus, theme nights with buffets, as well as a lunchtime Mongolian Wok. Or just sit down at Toko’s spacious bar for a cappuccino or a cocktail between meals.

The beach front cocktail bar, also known as the “50 Bar”, is where most people start their evening before heading off for dinner. Listen to great music, meet new friends and enjoy the company of Atlantis’ dive staff while overlooking the ocean. The bar opens at 3.30 pm and closes at midnight.

Atlantis Puerto Galera is a boutique resort with just 40 rooms.

All rooms include climate controlled air conditioning, a fully stocked mini bar, a supply of emergency toiletries, adjustable ceiling fans, en-suite facilities, solar heated hot water, cable T.V. with free movie and sports channels, an in-room safety deposit box, and wireless internet. Each suite also has coffee and tea making facilities and a DVD player.

The Deluxe rooms have a queen size bed or a queen plus a single bed. Coconut Terrace rooms are on the second level, each with a private terrace, poolside view and two reduced queen size beds.

On the third level, the Seaview Terrace rooms afford stunning views of the Verde Island passage and have a huge private terrace from which to soak up the tropical sun. Each room has two reduced queen size beds. The Executive Suites are spacious luxury apartments with private terrace and king size bed.

The Philippine Islands are home to more than 3000 species of fish and 448 species of coral – where else can you combine unbelievable muck-diving with pristine coral reefs and shoals of schooling fish?

Atlantis Puerto Galera is a Five Star PADI Career Development Center where you will find the highest standard of dive education, first class facilities and world class dive guides. Spacious comfortable boats will take you in small groups (no more than 6 people) to the many local dive sites, most of which are within ten minutes of the resort.

Talk to your guides about where you want to go and what you want to see. With 5 local dives per day (night dives available every day) or a day trip to more far ranging sites such as Verde Island you have plenty to choose from.

The facilities are top notch with 60 individual storage cubbies to keep your equipment dry and organized, high quality Scubapro rental equipment and a purpose built training pool. Extras such as a hot water shower in the dive shop equipment porters, and a fresh beach towel every day, snacks and drinking water make diving easy. Nitrox and Trimix are available as well as PADI Courses from beginner to Divemaster and Instructor Level.

Atlantis Puerto Galera offers diving with their Dolphin Rebreather units as well as tech diving options and courses. Divers return time and time again to explore the thirty plus dive sites just minutes away from this resort.

Photography is a big part of diving at the Atlantis resorts and with this mind they are constantly working on making things better for visiting photographers to use their equipment. In 2011 the camera room was renovated. Inside there is a load of private cubby holes to store your cameras (whether it is a massive DSLR with multiple long armed strobes or a simple compact camera) and a big matted work bench area where many photographers can set up in comfort.

On the technical side there are 220v and 110v wall sockets and a handy shelf to put all your battery chargers. There are high quality bright lamps and air blow guns to dry and clean your equipment. The photo room also has 2 internet terminals which can be used to check e-mails or send your favorite underwater images to all your friends. You can also plug in your own laptop and use the resorts complementary WiFi connection. And air conditioning so you can relax in comfort and it also helps stop the room from getting humid, keeping all of your camera gear dry.

Photography workshops allow you to enjoy underwater photography and get the most from the in-house underwater photo instructors. Workshops are offered for Novice, Intermediate and Professional level photographers.
