Accommodation All the private air-conditioned cabanas offer a porch and swinging hammock cooled by natural trade winds, facing the eastern Caribbean Sea. Each individual cabana has ceiling fans, one or two beds, nightstands and closet area. The baths are modern and equipped with hot showers.

Deluxe Cabanas Our newly-constructed deluxe cabanas are more spacious than our standard units. Each suite has a separate bedroom with king beds, ceiling fan, CD player, and air-conditioning unit, and private bath with shower. Diving Scuba diving here is spectacular. The first time you set up your gear is the last time you set up your gear. The staff will take care of your gear each morning and change your tanks after each dive. While at Turneffe you will dive sites such as Blackbird Wall, Little Calabash Wall, Runway and the Elbow. At Lighthouse Reef Atoll, you will dive the Blue Hole, Half Moon Caye Wall, all of which are world-class dive sites.
Snorkelers have daily guided trips and are encouraged to ask questions about marine flora and fauna. Snorkeling sites include Blackbird Reef, located directly in front of the main dock. Blackbird Cut, Calabash Cut, The Blue Hole, and Half Moon Caye are all excellent snorkel sites where can see stingrays, groupers, eagle rays, nurse sharks and much, much more. The resort has a dive and snorkel shop. |

Commitment to Sustainablity Blackbird Caye Eco-Dive Resort operates partially on renewable energy and adheres to a set of Best Practices. Blackbird Caye Resort donates $20 per visitor to the Turneffe Eco-Diver Fund (TED) as part of its commitment to ecological sustainability. The fund is managed by a committee of local conservation and academic representatives. Visitors will receive an attractive tag as a souvenir. |
