Blue Whales of the Pacific Coast with Big Animals |
|
Join wildlife photographer Amos Nachoum in search of the largest animal on earth.
Restricted to just 4 guests per departure, this underwater photography free diving adventure will give you a unique opportunity to spot the elusive and shy blue whale.
With 10 years’ experience diving with blue whales, Amos uses an elaborate tracking system for locating them during their annual migration along the coast of California. |
|
Three fishermen spotters in Baja California alert the boat to blue whale activity, a spotter plane pinpoints each whale’s route and progress, an expert captain who can place the boat along the projected path of the whale and three professional kayakers who will shuttle you as close as possible without disturbing the peaceful journey of the gentle leviathan.
Guided by the spotters, the boat will depart each day from San Diego toward the area being scouted. Once in the area, kayakers will take out 2 guests at a time to approach the whales. While waiting for spotters, stops for free diving with other marine life may be taken.
