Le Tikehau & Top Dive

Tikehau is a crown of coral islets that form an exceptional, 16-mile long lagoon. It is one of the Pacific’s best-kept secrets, an atoll dear to the heart of Polynesians for its preserved beauty: suspended between sky and waves.  Stay in an overwater bungalow and look through your glass floor to admire the thousands of fish.

Scuba diving is the island’s main attraction. The beauty and abundance of fauna explain why the sport is so popular, particularly in Tuheiava pass, where the manta rays’ ballet alternates with the parade of barracuda and tuna, as well as grey and lemon sharks. The four main diving sites are concentrated around Tuheiava pass, a 30-minute boat ride from the resort. Not to be missed, and accessible to all levels, the manta rays’ “service station” where the majestic and placid animals come and get cleaned up by small lagoon fish.
