Amanpulo

Description:

Amanpulo AerialAmanpulo on Pamalican is part of the Quiniluban Group of Cuyo Islands, situated in the north of the Philippine province of Palawan. Set on a private island in the Sulu Sea, Amanpulo is the epitome of a tropical paradise, and has been for the past two decades. Located 180 miles south of Manila, Pamalican is approximately 3 miles long and only 550 yards across at its widest point. Amanpulo’s facilities enjoy a spacious layout complementing their natural surroundings.

Accommodation:

Amanpulo’s 40 casitas are twin-roofed bungalows in hillside and beachfront settings, loosely modelled after the Philippine bahay kubo (native dwelling). Decorative interior details reflect the islands: pebble washed walls, coconut-shell tables, rustic Palawan rice and knife baskets, a king-size bed with a rattan headboard and sliding glass doors that reveal outdoor decks. The large Cebu marble bathroom features twin vanities, separate changing areas, a shower and an elegant bathtub lit by large windows.

Each casita comes with a buggy for unlimited independent island exploration.
