Havaiki Pearl Pension

At the far end of the Pacific Ocean, Pension Havaiki welcomes you with their beautiful beach and bungalows dotted along the sand and garden. The local staff is known for their hospitality and Polynesian smiles.

The restaurant offers a traditional and varied cuisine with specialties like raw fish sashimi and fresh tuna, mahi mahi with honey, heart of oysters with coconut milk curry, but also French and Chinese dishes. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere drinking homemade cocktails and checking out a local group in the evening.

On the beach you will find a snack bar open to the sea breezes with lunch items, fresh coconut water and soft drinks.

At the end of the jetty is a small pearl farm and guests have the opportunity (for a small fee) to snorkel to the oysters and pick a shell. If there is no pearl inside you can choose another shell until you find a pearl, but the surprise will be what type of pearl it is.

Havaiki Pearl offers 10 Premium Beach Bungalows directly on the beach facing the lagoon.

Each has a double bed, private bath with hot water and hair dryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, tea and coffee making facilities, mini fridge and safe. There is 1 single bed/lounge included in the room and the option to add a rollaway for families.

There are also 3 simple panoramic garden bungalows situated 2 meters above the beach bungalows, overlooking the lagoon from the terrace and 8 meters from the beach through a beautiful garden-lined path.

They are equipped with private bathrooms with cold water, a double bed with mosquito net and fan. There is enough space to add single beds for families.

Although there is no dive shop on site, diving can be booked with Top Dive Fakarava nearby.

A veritable undersea Garden of Eden, Fakarava has been classified as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve due to the rich diversity of its ecosystem. The undersea flora and fauna promises a richness in the myriad species you are likely to encounter.

All divers, whatever their level, will find happiness here with clear water, abundant marine life, magnificent corals.
