Located on Roatan’s Northeast shore Turquoise Bay is the only dive resort in this lush and remote area of the island providing you with the opportunity to dive uncrowded, pristine dive sites. The resort is set on a hillside with spectacular ocean views and a protected bay which makes the water calm and perfect for swimming and kayaking. Beach lovers will enjoy the private, tranquil, 500 ft white-sand beach.

Turquoise Bay Resort has a total of 26 spacious rooms nestled throughout the property. The 20 hillside bungalows are set amongst palm trees and tropical gardens. Each bungalow has stylish Caribbean decor and views of the white sand beach and turquoise water from private terraces. 6 rooms are located closer to the dive shop, pool and beach in the “Central America” building. These rooms are tastefully decorated with signature items from each Central American country. All rooms and bungalows have air conditioning , double beds or one king size bed, covered balcony or terrace, private bath with hot water, cable TV, telephone, Desk, coffee machine and hair dryer.

The North side of Roatan offers scuba divers and snorkelers the unique opportunity to experience the largest variety of reef topography around the island. Explore sloping plateaus perfect for spotting macro life, sheer walls with large soft corals and barrel sponges, wreck dives abundant with life, crevices, trenches, overhangs and cavern systems. Roatan is surrounded by the world's second largest barrier reef. Due to the Roatan Marine Park and the local dive community encouraging conservative diving practices the reef is one of the healthiest in the Caribbean.

The on-site Dive Centre is operated by Subway Watersports, an elite PADI 5 Star Instructor Development and National Geographic Dive Center. They offer valet diving, small groups of 6-12 divers per boat and a PADI Divemaster guides all dives. Experienced PADI Scuba Instructors conduct scuba diving lessons from beginner to Instructor in private classes. In addition to diving they offer snorkel trips, fishing and day trips to the neighboring Bay Islands.
